Montana Continuing Education is designed for licensed drivers seeking to improve their skills and knowledge. What are the age requirements to get a permit in Montana?
In Montana, individuals are eligible to apply for a learner's permit, officially known as a Traffic Education Learner License (TELL), at the age of 14½, provided they are enrolled in a state-approved traffic education program. Alternatively, those not participating in such a program can obtain a learner's permit at 16 years old.
